Accepta 2521 is a high performance stabilised chlorine dioxide solution scientifically formulated for the in-situ cleaning and disinfection of cooling tower pack components.
Accepta 2521 should be used in conjunction with either Accepta 2520 or Accepta 2522 and forms one component of a complete cooling tower pack cleaning system.
Accepta's pack cleaning system is especially useful where it is not practical to remove the cooling tower packing.
Accepta's towerpack cleaning system forms a stable wet foam that will flow slowly through the tower packing cleaning, descaling and disinfecting as it progresses. It is mildly acidic so as to remove inorganic scales.
When Accepta 2521, the stabilised chlorine dioxide component is added to the foam concentrate, chlorine dioxide is released into the foam. The release of the chlorine dioxide significantly aids disinfection.

Application & Dosage Information
Use a foam generation system (available from Accepta) that generates a wet foam at a dose rate of 5 - 10%.
The design of the dosing equipment is important. The creation of a stable wet foam is essential.
Activate one container at a time.
Add 250 ml of Accepta 2521 stabilised chlorine dioxide to the 12.5 litre container of foam gel. Cap the drum and invert to mix.
Allow the solution to stand for ten minutes for chlorine dioxide generation.
Discard all unused activated foam gel.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
