Accepta 6016 is a high performance, highly concentrated solid chemical cooling water treatment scientifically formulated to treat and protect galvanised steel cooling towers from white rust conditions.
Accepta 6016 is suitable for use in both new installations and systems that must be routinely passivated. It uses the very latest anti-scaling and corrosion inhibition technologies.
Accepta 6016 corrosion inhibitors combine with conventional chemistry to provide system protection via passivation.
Accepta 6016 contains ortho phosphate, polymer dispersant and triazole.
Accepta 6016 is available in fully recyclable plastic bottles each containing 5kg of concentrated solid chemical.
Accepta 6016 is packaged in cases containing 4 x 5kg bottles.
Each case weighs 20kg.

Application & Dosage Information
At a dosage rate of 250 ppm the parameters identified in the table below should be met during the passivation period.
Operators should also refer to the tower manufacturers guidelines for additional detail.
|Water Quality Range||Dosage||Test Range|
|pH||Calcium||Alkalinity||Chemical level in recirculating water||Ortho PO4|
|6.5 - 8.0||100 - 300ppm||100 - 300ppm||250 ppm||100 ppm|
At a dosage rate of 20 ppm, 1 case of Accepta 6016 is equivalent to approximately 227kg of a conventional liquid product. Comparative values will vary, dependent upon concentration.
Testing & Control
Ortho phosphate test kits suitable for monitoring and controlling the use of Accepta 6016 are available from Accepta.
