Caustic pH Adjuster & Alkalinity Builder (25%)

Accepta 2599 is a high performance; concentrated caustic soda based pH adjuster and boiler water alkalinity builder, scientifically formulated for the control of boiler feed water pH, particularly in food industry and food processing applications.

Accepta 2599 comprises a solution of 25% caustic alkali, it is an excellent pH adjuster for steam boilers, effluent systems or any process requiring pH adjustment.

A convenient liquid treatment, this highly efficient product can be used to regenerate anionic resins in deionization plants and is widely used in the neutralisation processes where the pH must be raised.

Application & Dosage Information

Dose Accepta 2599 to give caustic alkalinity levels in the boiler that comply with B.S. 2486 : 1997.

Dose in proportion to feedwater flow.

Do not mix neat Accepta 2599 with neat sulphite containing products as this will result in crystalisation of the sulphite and precipitation of the catalyst.

Dose into the feedtank or feed line via a positive displacement pump.

It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
