Accepta 2507 is a high performance, phosphonate based corrosion and scale inhibitor cooling water chemical scientifically formulated for the treatment and protection of cooling water systems operating under hard water conditions.
Accepta 2507 comprises an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, phosphonates, polymers and azole.
Accepta 2507 has an excellent environmental profile and is considered an environmentally friendly, biodegradable scale and corrosion inhibitor.
Accepta 2507 is designed specifically for hard water open cooling systems and evaporative condensers and offers an array of performance benefits.
Achieving superior results against the corrosion of steel, copper and brass, Accepta 2507 also controls the effect of water hardness and the formation of scale as well as containing an effective dispersant.
Accepta 2507 is suitable for systems with a pH higher than 8.5
In addition Accepta 2507 is stable to both chlorine and bromine at the levels normally found in cooling systems.

Application & Dosage Information
Accepta 2507 should be dosed to give 100 - 150 ppm in the system.
It is important when starting up a new system or re-starting an existing system to apply a dose of 300 ppm.
Accepta 2507 is for hard water systems only.
Testing & Control
Test for phosphonate ( 1.8 ppm as o-PO4 at 100 ppm) using the phosphonate micropipette method.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
