Application & Dosage Information
Target dosage range for Accepta 2619 is 25 - 30 ppm as SiO2 in the recirculating cooling water as maintenance rate.
For a passivating programme, the dosage rate should be 3 times the maintenance rate and maintained for five days.
Accepta 2619 should be fed neat or as part of an appropriate mix to the cooling water system where it can be uniformly mixed and thoroughly distributed using a chemical metering pump.
Appropriate use of Accepta 2619 following the above dosing strategy should result in a corrosion rate of less than 2 mpy.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
