Accepta 2601 is a high performance liquid catalysed sodium bisulphite based oxygen scavenger designed to scavenge oxygen and hence inhibit oxidative pitting corrosion within steam boilers.

Application & Dosage Information
Total Target dosage range for Accepta 2601 is 30 - 60 ppm as Na2SO3 in boiler feed water.
Accepta 2601 should be fed neat or as part of an appropriate mix to the boiler feedwater system where it can be uniformly mixed and thoroughly distributed using a chemical metering pump.
Appropriate use of Accepta 2601 following the above dosing strategy will result in no oxygen corrosion in the boiler and pre-boiler system.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.

Accepta 2601 - use a sulphite drop test available from Accepta.

Safety, Storage & Handling
Accepta 2601 is a mildly acidic solution. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing. If skin comes into contact with this product, wash with water. If eyes are affected, flush with water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
