Accepta 2503 is a high performance catalysed oxygen scavenger scientifically formulated for use in steam boilers and boiler water treatment applications.
Accepta 2503 is a catalysed oxygen scavenger developed for the treatment of steam raising plant, boilers and hot water systems.
Accepta 2503 will aid the rapid removal of dissolved oxygen and will prevent pitting corrosion of heat exchange surfaces. It can be used in boiler systems up to a pressure of 46 bar.
Accepta 2503 is based on a concentrated solution of sodium bisulphite and contains an additional catalyst.

Application & Dosage Information
Dose Accepta 2503 to give sulphite reserves in the boiler that comply with B.S. 2486 : 1997.
Dose Accepta 2503 in proportion to the feed water flow. The dosage rate will depend on the feed water temperature.
Monitor sulphite levels regularly.
Dose Accepta 2503 with a positive displacement pump to the point of application.
Accepta 2503 is compatible with other boiler water treatments. However, do not allow Accepta 2503 to mix with strong oxidising agents or acids.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
