Condensate Line Corrosion Inhibitor for Steam Raising Plant & Hot Water Systems

Accepta 2588 is a high performance condensate line corrosion inhibitor developed for use in steam raising plant and hot water systems.

Accepta 2588 is scientifically formulated using cyclohexylamine, morpholine and diethylaminoethanol. The total amine content of this product is 40%.

Accepta 2588 will extend the life of system condensate pipework by retarding the rate of “grooving” by acidic condensate.

Accepta 2588 is not approved for use where steam comes into contact with foodstuffs.

Application & Dosage Information

Dose Accepta 2588 to achieve 0.7 ppm per 1 ppm of total alkalinity in the make-up. The dosage rate will depend on the level of condensate return.

Dose Accepta 2588 in proportion to the feedwater flow by means of a positive displacement pump.

Maintain a condensate pH of 8.0 - 8.5.

Accepta 2588 is compatible with most boiler water treatment chemicals, but do not mix neat products.

It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.

Test Method

Test pH and iron content of condensate (low range iron comparator).
