Multi-Functional Treatment for Steam Raising Plant (Food Safe)

Accepta 2502 is a high performance, food safe multi-functional boiler chemical scientifically formulated for the treatment of steam raising plant and other steam boiler applications.

Accepta 2502 is suitable for use where steam may come into contact with food.

This excellent all-in-one multifunctional chemical treatment contains a catalysed sulphite oxygen scavenger, a polyacrylate sludge conditioner and dispersant, and phosphate.

Application & Dosage Information

Dose Accepta 2502 to give sulphite and phosphate reserves in the boiler that comply with B.S. 2486 : 1997.

Dose Accepta 2502 in proportion to the feedwater flow. The dose rate will depend on the feedwater temperature.

Monitor sulphite and phosphate levels regularly.

Dose with a positive displacement pump to the point of application.

It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.

Test Method

Titrate with potassium iodide / iodate solution in presence of acid starch indicator.

On-site test method - Measure sulphite using a sulphite drop test method. Comply with BS 2486.
