Accepta 2500 is an advanced, multi-purpose all-in-one liquid treatment chemical specially developed for use in steam raising plant and steam generators.
Accepta 2500 is scientifically formulated from a blend of polyamines and neutralising amines to create a high performance, single, low solids boiler water treatment product.
This innovative all-in-one chemical treatment product creates a protective film that inhibits both corrosion and scale formation, and will also control pH.
Accepta 2500 can be used in a wide range of applications, where demineralised or reverse osmosis water is used as make-up including:
- Boilers with turbines.
- Wet conservation of boilers.
- High and low pressure boiler systems.
- Industrial and district heating systems.
Accepta 2500 does not increase the solids in the boiler water (unlike sulphite or phosphate) resulting in a comparative reduction of blow down and therefore significant energy and water cost savings for the system.
Accepta 2500 produces a protective layer throughout the water circuit which acts to protect the feed, boiler and condensate systems. Protection increases whilst maintenance costs decrease and equipment life is extended.
Accepta 2500 satisfies the FDA approval requirements and can be used in food industry applications, even where there is direct food contact. The required dosage rates for this product are also lower in comparison to alternative treatments, leading to a reduction in effluent and a reduced chemical requirement.
- High performance multi-component polyamine-based formulation for boilers.
- Film forming properties inhibit corrosion, scale formation and aid pH control.
- Condensate line protection.
- Low solids.
- Reduces energy and water costs.
- Reduces maintenance costs and extends equipment life.
- FDA approved for use with food, including direct contact applications.
- Cost effective in-use - low dosage rates required and reduced effluent.
|Solubility in water:||Miscible in all proportions|
|pH:||11 - 12|

Application & Dosage Information
Accepta 2500 should be dosed at very low levels, typically between 10 - 80 ppm, based on the make-up water.
Dosing of Accepta 2500 is independent from oxygen concentration and feed tank temperature.
Monitoring and control is simple and can be carried out using one of our standard analysis kits.
It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.
Accepta 2500 is based on polyamine technology which adsorbs onto base metal and prevents corrosion of that metal.
At transition, old oxide deposits from the previous treatment programme are replaced by the amine and need to be flushed from the system or gradually removed.
