Accepta 2515 is a high performance solution of caustic alkali with additional polymers scientifically formulated for the adjustment of pH in steam boiler systems.

Accepta 2515 provides caustic alkalinity and disperses residual hardness in the boiler water.

Accepta 2515 is formulated from an aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide and polymers.

Application & Dosage Information

Dose Accepta 2515 to give caustic alkalinity levels in the boiler that comply with B.S. 2486 :1997.

Dose Accepta 2515 in proportion to the feed water flow.

Dose into the feed tank or feedline via a positive displacement dump.

Do NOT mix neat Accepta 2515 with neat sulphite containing products. This will result in crystalisation of the sulphite and precipitation of the catalyst.

It is always advisable to carry out a 'Control Of Substances Hazardous to Health' (COSHH) assessment before use.

Testing & Control

Titrate sample with N/50 sulphuric acid using phenolphthalein indicator. Use 10% barium chloride to remove carbonate.

On-site measure the alkalinity using an Accepta drop test or titration.
