Accepta 2078 is an innovative, highly efficient single-component stabilised bromine biocide designed to effectively penetrate and remove slime deposits, biofilms and to control microbiological growth (including legionella) across a range of applications including:

Industrial cooling towers and heat transfer systems.
Industrial and commercial re-circulating cooling water systems.
Air washers and scrubbers.
Industrial pasteurisers.
Paper mills.
Decorative water features and fountains.

The benefits of Accepta 2078 are significant and include:

Legionella effective - fast acting and highly effective against legionella and virtually all other microorganisms.
Easy application - a one-component liquid product that comes already "active" making it easier to handle, apply and control.
Effective biofilm removal - the combined action of the bromine and stabiliser act as an excellent mechanism for removing biofilms, far better than chlorine or chlorine/bromine combinations alone.
Low volatility - reduced halogen loss helps to retain most of the product in the system for longer periods, allowing for better control of microbial growth over extended periods. This low volatility also reduces unwanted odours and air emissions.
Excellent product stability - the stabiliser helps to maintain product activity, minimising decomposition in storage, resulting in excellent consistency of performance for microbiological control dose after dose.
Excellent chlorine alternative - increased efficiency over chlorine chemistry especially at high pH and in the presence of process contamination.
Improved safety and environmental compliance - 10 times less toxic in use, when compared to chlorine.
Improved compatibility and reduced corrosion - less aggressive to scale and corrosion inhibitors used in industrial water treatment than other oxidising biocides.
