| Chlorine dioxide
(ClO2) is a highly effective super sanitising chemical agent
that is highly recommended for use where the control of microbiological
activity is essential, if not critical. Because of its biocidal
characteristics, ClO2 is ideal for the control of surface
and waterborne pathogens; and the control and removal of stubborn
biofilm. In fact, ClO2 has consistently been shown to be the
best molecule for eradicating the causative organism of Legionnaires'
disease. In the UK, the Building Services Research and Information
Association (BSRIA) has recommended CIO2 as the best available
technology for control of Legionella in hot and cold water
systems.

Powder Systems
Accepta’s SafeOx II ClO2 powder system comprises two separate
powdered components that when required, are mixed together in water
to create an activated 0.3% solution of ClO2 which is stable for

Generators
Accepta offer three alternative ClO2 generating systems as follows:
Electrochemical Generation
- Accepta's range of high performance electrochemical generators
produce safe concentrations of high purity ClO2 in solution at
up to 2.4kg per day. This system offers several advantages including
significantly improved safety, ease of use, and the production
of high purity ClO2. There is no acid to handle, no chlorine and
no bleach. This range of catalyst based generators has been developed
to suit a range of smaller commercial and industrial applications
where ClO2 purity, improved conversion rates, ease of use and
safety considerations are considered significant.
Catalyst Column
- Accepta's range of high performance catalyst column generators
utilise an innovative generation system that combines dilute sodium
chlorite and acid with a unique catalyst column to generate safe
concentrations of high purity ClO2 in solution at up to 4.5kg
per day. Neither chlorine nor bleach are required to complete
the process, thereby improving on-site safety. This range of catalyst
based generators has been developed to suit a range of smaller
commercial and industrial applications where ClO2 purity, improved
conversion rates, ease of use and safety considerations are considered
significant.
Acid/Sodium Chlorite
- Accepta's range of acid/sodium chlorite generators have been
developed to suit a wide range of applications ranging from small
commercial to large scale industrial applications. Select from

Test Kits and Analysis Equipment
Accepta’s range of ClO2 test kits use a number of alternative
analysis techniques and have been developed to allow the quick and
easy, "in-field" analysis of chlorine dioxide.
Selective Ion Electrometry
- This range of test kits use a revolutionary analysis technique
which measures direct oxidizing biocides using “Selective
Ion Electrometry” or SIE, which is unaffected by sample
colour, turbidity or organic pollutants. To perform the test,
