Biocide Tablets - Accepta's high performance biocide tablets or CoolTabs comprise a slow dissolving biocide in a handy tablet form. These versatile tablets contain a highly effective disinfectant and have been developed to control slime forming bacteria, sludge and other biological growths in air conditioning condensate pans and ducted a/c systems.

Air conditioning is utilised in many homes and commercial buildings throughout the world to ensure that pleasant, healthy living and working environments can be maintained all year long. One important area of the air handling system often forgotten until problems occur is the condensate collection pan associated with small de-humidification units. Stagnant condensate accumulating in the pan provides an ideal habitat for various bacteria, which multiply rapidly forming odorous biological slimes. As growth continues drain lines become blocked and the resulting overflow can cause considerable damage to building structures, finishes and furnishings, apart from the obvious inconvenience to staff and guests.

Dosage Rate

One Accepta biocide tablet treats approximately 0.14m2 (1.5 ft.sq) of pan area for up to 6 months. Place the tablet in the pan at the furthest point from the drain. Replace when dissolved.
