DEHA - Hydrazine Replacement Boiler Water Oxygen Scavenger

DEHA - Accepta offer two DEHA products, Accepta 2061 and Accepta 2323. Both are high performance DEHA based novel oxygen scavengers developed specifically for a range of demanding boiler water treatment applications. Accepta’s DEHA products have been developed to give outstanding protection from oxygen corrosion together with excellent feed-water and boiler system passivation. They can be used as a direct replacement for hydrazine.

Both Accepta 2061 and Accepta 2323 can be used as a replacement for hydrazine in any boiler up to 125 bar without the associated safety hazards and handling precautions. The products are volatile and alkaline, contributing no dissolved solids or ammonia to the system, and can be fed into feed-waters used for spray attemperation. Please note that neither Accepta 2061 or Accepta 2323 are suitable for use with highly oxygenated feed-waters, as a minimum feed temperature of 85oC is essential and deaeration is preferred. Accepta 2061 and Accepta 2323 are highly effective as corrosion inhibitors for closed systems where minimal addition to the non-volatile dissolved solids in the system water is necessary due to high operating temperatures and pressures, or to operational conductivity restrictions.
